Artventure!
Welcome to Artventure.
This is a journey to the soul through exploring different themes and techniques. There’re two things that have always been important to me in Scrapbooking. I recently went back through all the layouts I ever created (I talk about this in the Kind Heart chapter) since 2003 and I see these two things in 90% of my layouts:
One is using techniques and more specifically art techniques. And the second thing is adding meaningful words to my pages. I have always used my layouts as a way to speak life and prayers and promises over my girls and loved ones.
So, in this year-long journey, I call Artventure, we will do just that: Create beautiful layouts by focusing on a different technique every month and create meaningful layouts by focusing on a different theme every month. I might try and come up with new techniques or maybe just taking old ones one step further. The themes will be divided into 4 categories: a Prayer, a Promise, a Proverb, and a Present. This way we will stay on course and make things simple! in the Art2Heart workshop, we focused on our own hearts but in this workshop I want us to pay it forward to those we love. We will be praying for them, reminding them of God’s promises and counseling them with the wisdom of Proverbs and lastly reminding them to stay present and also that their lives are a gift to those around them!

The content will be added to this workshop before the 5th of each month. So make sure you check back every month.
What you will need:
A way to print the PDF’s I will create (either at home or at a place like Staples). I use the Epson Artisan 1430 wide format printer.
You do not need a Silhouette Cameo but if you have one, I design my products to work perfectly with the Print and Cut feature of this machine. (see the video in the index lesson below)
