Heartfelt Christmas Workshop
Welcome!
I am so, SO happy to present to you this Workshop! THANK YOU!!! (A million zillion times over for buying this class and supporting me)!! I love Christmas but some years I find it so hard to get into the Christmas Spirit and this year it seemed like a mountain before me. But then the Idea came to me to do a Christmas Workshop where I will make small and simple things for Christmas that is adorable and that makes me happy. And just like that my heart and mind changed and as I worked on these projects, I became enthused with excitement for this Holiday Season. We will be making 12 Projects. Only 3 of those will be paper based (Tags, the Christmas Album and Christmas Cards) and the rest are sweet, small, adorable and will simply steal your heart. I hope that you join me in making each and every project! I will show you how I digitally created my Christmas Cards this year. We will be making tree ornaments and things to set a pretty Christmas Table: Christmas Crackers and Name place holders. We will make a pretty corner in our homes with the wreaths, snow globes and candle. And we will amaze our friends with the Brown Paper Packages and Cookie Boxes that is so easy and simply too cute.
PLEASE NOTE: My plan is to sell most of the downloads in the class in my shop as well… please don’t buy them again! They are all here and free with this workshop.
How this Workshop Works:
Each Project is in a separate Lesson. And the very first “Lesson” is the Download Section where you will find all the downloads in one place. I numbered the download thumbnails to correspond with the numbers of the actual zip files. At the end of each Project Lesson, you will see the images of the downloads I used. Remember that the Project Lessons don’t host any downloads… ONLY the Heartfelt Christmas Download Section where you can find all 23 download ZIP files under Lesson Media.
What is included in this Workshop:
8 FREE Printable Downloads (and a few of them has matching cut files)
14 FREE Cut files
1 Recipe
Over 4 hours of Video… (yikes… But I will play you some of my favorite Christmas Music)
12 Projects
A Teacher that loves you and are only an email away. 🙂
A Gallery of the projects we will be making:
Ready to start? yay! Share your projects on Instagram with the #heartfeltchristmas tag.

Heartfelt Christmas Download Section
Find all the downloads here – The Zip files will be under Lesson Media. as you can see, the Thumbnails are numbered and the Zip files below has matching numbers. This will make it easy for you when you want to download a specific file. I did not add any downloads to the actual Project Lessons, so please come here to download what you need. 🙂 I am also answering a few questions with links to videos and products in this section.
Project 1: Snow Globes!
You don’t have to look any further than Pinterest to find instructions how to make these adorable Snow globes. I decided to make a whole cluster of little snow globes and to actually fill mine with water. One thing that I love about doing a workshop like this is that I get to make the mistakes so that you don’t have to! There’s a few things you should take…
Project 2: Little Cookie Boxes
Years ago, I saw something similar in a Martha Stewart Magazine and I made a gingerbread man box. But for this project, I drew an actual house that will host the Chocolate Fudge Cookies (or gingerbread men)! This cannot be more simple and yet it looks like you spent hours to make these. I provide 2 downloads for the cookie boxes: A white house with black lines and a…
Project 3: Little Wreaths
I was looking at something else in Michaels one day when my eye caught these little wreaths! What made me happy about them is the fact that they were not embellished and of course I bought a whole bunch of them (they cost around $1.50 each) to embellish. My plan is to hang them with fishing line from a wood hanger somewhere in my home. I love to cluster little things
Project 4: The Christmas Card
I don’t know about you, but sending a Christmas Card gives me so much joy. To me, it truly is an act of kindness. I even get emotional thinking about it. I send way more in this envelope than just a piece of paper. I send a part of my heart and a bit of my soul. Truly. Years ago, I would sit and make cards. Carefully mass manufacture 50 or 60 cards and send…
Project 5: Making Christmas Crackers
Honestly, the reason why I picked the Christmas Crackers as one of my Projects is becuase I buy them every. single. year. Our family tradition is Christmas eve we set a pretty table and make Pepper-steak and Chicken pies. We set the table with candles, Crystal Glasses and Christmas Crackers. When I discovered (with the help of the Silhouette) how incredible simple it is to make, I was…
Project 6: Brown Paper Packages tied up with String
Is the Sound Of Music’s song Brown Paper Packages tied up with String not a bit true of Christmas? That’s what I thought. I bought these little boxes from Walmart and decorated the Lids with all sorts of embellishments. This is for sure a super fun project and so versatile. You can use the boxes for Gift cards or cookies or diamonds. Just have fun with…
Project 7: A Cinnamon Candle
Candles are also such an integral part of Christmas for me and I have at least a dozen pillar candles that I take out and culture here and there in my home for the Holiday Season. So, when I saw another version of this on Pinterest, I decided to make mine a Cinnamon candle. It’s so simple and fun. I think the best pillar candle to…
Project 8: Little Frame Ornaments
So this project was inspired by something completely different. I saw these old paintings that someone dipped in different colors paint about half way. It was fascinating but not anything that I can actually do to a painting. So I decided to do it with these little frames that I bought at Michaels in the $1 bins. I love love love this project. I was so pumped when it turned…
Project 9: Christmas Tags
Tags are amazing. I love these layered tags that is just so fascinating to look at. I was definitely inspired by Tara Anderson when I created these. You can use them for so many things. I included one in my December Mini album. I am planning to actually use the others for my best friends’ Christmas Gifts this year. They are special… so they deserve something…
Project 10: Cookie Cutter Decorations
I think this might be a very unique set of Christmas Ornaments! You can fill these cookie cutters with anything! My initial thought was to add little embellishments and add a few layers of the Envirotex epoxy varnish to it but I love this idea much better. The biggest trick is to add the paint to the cookie cutters without letting the paint mix. I found that a craft stick helps with this. The project will take…
Project 11: Name Place Holders
I knew one of the projects should be name place holders for my Christmas Table. But I really did not foresee them being this cute. The cuteness factor of this project wins the prize in my books in this Workshop! It was a bit of a pain to make but so WORTH it. Just have a look at the gallery! I adhered the candies to the roof of the birdhouse with royal icing (out of a bottle)… each side will take about a whole day to dry. So this is a 3 day…
Project 12: December Mini Album
I will be forever thankful to Ali Edwards for starting the December Daily project all the years ago. I attempted my first album in 2009 and did not finish it. 2010 was better and then I totally fell in love with it in 2011 and 2012. Last Year (2013) I made some foundation pages but never finished my Album. This year’s album is a wonderful fusion…
