A Heartfelt Christmas with Paige and Wilna
Welcome from Wilna and Paige!
Welcome to another Heartfelt Christmas Workshop and this time it’s twice as good! I invited Paige Evans to join me in making projects for this workshop and we hope you love every project and make with us! This year we have a few more paper projects and Paige and I both made December Albums… I totally love how all of the projects turned out. Getting into the Christmas Spirit have never been easier. Grab a coffee or a big pot of tea and come and watch the videos and plan out how you will enjoy the season by making some of the projects with us!
A welcome note from Paige: From merry music and timeless traditions to decking the halls and holly jolly festivities, Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year! I’m so excited to share a few projects I’ve created to help brighten up your home and share your memories with future generations. If you’re like me, you have loads of Christmas supplies and are searching for a way to use them. In my projects I’ll share ways to create gift cards, pretty paper ornaments, a pair of layouts to document the holidays, an altered marquee light that really sparkles, and end with my favorite project of them all: a December Daily type project in a unique format – a MemoryDex spinner! I love Christmas and all that it entails and I hope you’ll join me and Wilna in this Heartfelt Christmas workshop so you can be inspired and crafty this holiday season!
PLEASE NOTE: I will sell most of the downloads in the class in my shop as well… please don’t buy them again! They are all here and free with this workshop.

Lessons
Heartfelt Christmas 2 Products
Project 1: It’s a Wrap.
In this lesson we will be making some Gift Wrapping Paper and wrap up some gifts. When I started this lesson I wanted to make layered media wrapping paper and in the end I settled for something plain and uncomplicated and absolutely loved it. It’s more about keeping it simple…
Project 2: Deck the Halls Layout
On this layout I was inspired by a quilt! I love using quilts for inspiration because instead of using fabric pieces, I just use paper pieces!
Project 3: Pretty Picture Frame
Photos are one of my favorite gifts to give at Christmas. I usually do a Fall Photoshoot with my girls and getting these images printed and boxed up in a pretty box make for a very dear and heartfelt gift for their grand parents overseas. This year I thought to make photo frame…
Project 4: Paper Ornaments
These easy DIY paper ornaments are addicting to make and add such whimsy to your tree! All you need is a few of your favorite patterned papers, a star punch, and a sewing machine. No glue involved!
Project 5: Merry Tags
Tags are such a fun and creative thing to make. I love it way more than making cards. I think for some reason it’s becuase it’s less formal and less intimidating. For me, at least. I absolutely love how theses tags turned out. I love the white with reds and the little printables…
Project 6: Cards Gift Pack
Create a pack of cards to give as a gift or send them out individually to friends and loved ones this holiday season!
Project 7: A Happy Tree
I found this Christmas Tree Chubby at Michaels and immediately knew I wanted to make something with it. This is the happiest project! it’s incredibly fun to make at every stage of it and I call it a Magic Tree becuase I am sure a little one would be mesmerized…
Project 8: Christmas Tree Marquee
A Christmas tree marquee light by Heidi Swapp can become a statement piece in your holiday decor with a little TLC!
Project 9: Reindeer Names
This project has a huge cuteness factor to it! AND it’s super fun to make. I bought these small chalkboards and a packet of wood veneer reindeer from Michaels and I simply painted them with water color after priming them with white acrylic paint. These little reindeer can be painted…
Project 10: Night Before Christmas Layout
I love using die cut backgrounds to make my layouts – especially backing them with patterned paper!
Project 11: December Album
This year I bought the December Daily 2014 Kit from aliedwards.com mainly becuase I needed to make my project and could not wait for the new kits to ship. I love the beige cloth album and in the end I learned some valuable lesson of what works and what doen not work… But you have to watch…
Project 12: December Memories MemoryDex
Documenting my daily memories in December is one of my favorite annual traditions! It is so fun to look back and see what we did during the most wonderful time of the year.
