Dear Rainstorm, thank you for being the dramatic bookend to my week off work. This week was about: Flowers for a bridal shower, birthdays, gifts to warm the soul, like facials, wind chimes, mint-coloured diaries, purple gin and books. It was about legs in the sun and reading till the moon disappeared. It was about painting my bathroom and making even more room in my heart. Bear visits and foam hearts in my coffee. Lakes and long drinks of ice water. New hats and new hopes. Patio visits with beautiful friends and my pretty girls.

Dear God, thank you for your faith in my to never doubt Your mighty power to work in me and accomplish all this. You will achieve infinitely more than my greatest request, my most unbelievable dream, and exceed my wildest imagination! You will outdo them all, for Your miraculous power constantly energizes me.
